Knights of Columbus Council 9111

was founded at St Mary Star of the Sea Church on November 7, 1985. We are a group of Catholic men from St. Mary's and a few other churches nearby.

The Knights of Columbus is founded on the four principles of Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism. We help the Church in service to the community through charitable fundraisers, work parties, support of groups within the Church, etc.

Some members attend mass at San Luis Rey, but may live closer to St. Mary's or prefer our smaller council atmosphere. Nearby churches such as St. Margaret's Church, do not have a Knights of Columbus Council so we have members who attend mass at St. Margaret's and want to be a part of the Knights of Columbus.

Catholic Men are welcome to come meet the men of Council 9111.  Please contact Grand Knight Paul McQuigg at 760.586.7702 for orientation meeting times and dates at. You may also contact the Deputy Grand Knight Bo Watson for any questions you may have at 619.316.1695.
